I tend to lean towards IKEA over this furniture as it seems a little more solid and overall a better buy for similar price. Its particle board with a cheap wood veneer. You can tell that its inexpensive but it will get me by and the built in plugs are nice to have. Construction was simple but if you are not used to building this type of furniture DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN IT! You will either break the particle board or the cheap cams.
