We bought two of these nightstands. The quality for the $$$ is excellent. Smells for a few weeks (paint/glue?) but that goes away. Although they do package these really really well, one of the nightstands was delivered damaged/busted in a few places and customer service was wonderful and helped us work through getting a replacement. These are very well-built nightstands. Because they are solid wood, they are heavy! Might need two people to lift up/down stairs. Excellent buy!
