Pros:After putting it together, we like the overall look of the dresser. The price was great compared to a Babyletto dresser we saw in a similar style that did not have great reviews. We did replace the dresser knobs to match our neutral theme with a $7 natural wood option we found on Amazon - which we are happy with. We also like the size of each drawer - the IKEA Skubb organizers fit almost perfectly in the drawers for organizing little clothes - and the changing table frame fits our Keekaroo Peanut Changer.Cons:The assembly, however, was a pain and took approximately 3 hours from unboxing to putting the drawers in place. There are A LOT of parts. Also, for us, on step 15 (attached picture) - there were holes that should have been pre-drilled to screw in "HH" screws - that were not - so we will need to carefully pre-drill those holes to not drill all the way through to the front of the dresser. It seems to be a fairly important miss since it helps to secure the bottoms of each drawer. If this would bother anyone, another issue we had is that the drawers are not exactly aligned. We tried re-arranging all the drawers to see what would be the best fit, but the spacing is off on the top drawer alignment, and the top drawer catches on the top right portion of the dresser. You'll see in my photos the spacing is off, but something we can overlook and get used to.Good product, looks very good! Unfortunately they forgot to make holes in the drawers as seen in the picture, which didn’t allow me to fully assemble it. It also came with a damaged wood board. It’s a nice dresser however to assemble takes time and patience! If you are not patient like my husband, it can get frustrating to put together. This thing is not impossible to assemble without mistakes as some reviews might make you think. I was paying attention closely, and used common sense when one of the parts didn't seem to fit the illustration. However, it is a time consuming task that might have you fastening hexes in weird and uncomfortable angles - it could have been a little more assembly-friendly, but the quality of materials and fair price do compensate for it. Don't get me wrong, it is still particle board to the most part, but it feels pretty solid and sturdy and well built.BUT, after paying attention closely and building the whole thing with no power tools, it is extremely annoying that the drawers don't close well, and are not evenly spaced. There is some leeway if you are willing to take an uncharted path and use some of the other rail holes that let you shift the height a little, but when you do that, you than need to shift all of the other drawers I realized once the top one was fixed, which was too much of a pain. these drawers should have had a better way to adjust height/positioning. The drawers DO open all the way though, which is super comfortable compared to our older, vintage, dresser.I didn't feel any chemical smell - it just smells like new furniture to me, but this is not my first born, so I might be a little less concerned to begin with than some other reviewers.Ok y’all I really wanted to love this dresser but I do have some issues with it.What I like- the size is perfect for my very small nursery. The style matches my Ava crib. Changing table top is convenient for maximizing my small space and it secures the changing pad. Drawers give me useful space for the size of the dresser (attached a photo to see what I can fit in a drawer). No issues with chipped paint or other damage to pieces during shipping. Clear-ish directions to assemble. Did not require crazy tools to assemble. What I don’t like- it did have a manufactured/chemical smell when we first assembled it but the smell is now gone maybe 2 weeks later. There was one part of the directions that were swapped/confusing, so it took some sleuth work on our part to make sure we were putting that particular piece together right. I think it was just that they swapped the labels of a dowel thing. Just pay attention. My biggest issue with this was one piece on the front of the dresser is warped/bent. Not so bad that you can’t assemble it, but it does affect how the drawers close. They don’t close all the way and it looks like they don’t line up. Not a HUGE deal because it’s not SUPER noticeable, but definitely annoying to me because I’ll know it’s like that and I paid money for it so I want a good product. I attached a photo showing each side, one you can see the drawers don’t sit flush and one they are flush. But then from straight on it’s not really obvious. My last gripe is with the knobs, they’re kinda small and difficult to grip so I’ll be switching them to something else.I want to note, someone reviewed that the drawers seem sticky or hard to open- there is a little white/clear plastic piece on the back of the track of each drawer- you can just pop that off and they open and close very easily. But I do think that piece is there so it’s not as easy for kiddos to break into lolIt took two of us a few hours to assemble and beware the box it arrives in is VERY heavy. That said, the dresser is heavy so it’s sturdy. It definitely doesn’t feel cheap. There’s also extra weight on the lower back part to prevent it from tipping, and it comes with hardware to attach it to the wall if you were so inclined.Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase although it’s a slight bummer the piece is warpedLove this. It’s way bigger than I originally thought it was going to be based on the picture. I did not read about the dimensions ahead of time. Very sturdy piece of furniture and beautiful. matches my crib perfectly. Only con is how long it look to put together. It took my husband and I minimally 2.5 hours to complete everything but the drawer inserts. All in all, I would recommend this product!! Just beware it’s a process to put together.
